Saxon raises over $44,000 in four weeks
setting record in GA-10
Athens, Ga. - Democratic congressional candidate Bobby Saxon
filed his disclosure reports with the Federal Election
Commission. The Jackson County Democrat reported raising
more than $44,000 in his first four weeks.
"We are extremely excited about the large amount of support
we've received in the 10th District in just four weeks,"
said Saxon. "It says a lot about what the district is
looking for and what this campaign offers. This district is
tired of the partisan bickering and it's time to start
putting people above partisan politics."
Saxon surpassed all previous Democratic candidates in the
last 10 years for first quarter reporting in just four weeks
of fundraising.
Bobby Saxon is an Iraq war veteran and small business owner
and he has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and commanded a unit
on a Homeland Security mission. Saxon also serves as Chair
of the Jackson County Democratic Party and is a member of
the Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee.
